Dissertation is dedicated to the study of Conservancy activity of Greek-Catholic church in Halychyna in 1920-1939. The author analyzed archive documents and various historiographic materials, described forms of Church conservancy activity and made definite conclusions: a/ farming at Church estates was based at scientific, nature-conservative and forest regulation principles; b/the Church organized several wildlife preservations in Halychyna in 1920–1930; c/ the Church initiated tourist activity at “Perehinsko” estate during the interwar period; d/ the Church promoted conservancy activity of national scientific institutions and public organizations; e/ leaders of the Church, priests and estate attendants popularized ideas of conservancy in Halychyna.
